Gregg Chapel CME Church

I support my church. I will support any church in the future that I belong to. It's important to support anything that you strongly believe in. My church gives money to charity and goes out and feeds the homeless. We give poor children, Christmas presents and on Thanksgiving we provide them with a healthy dinner. We do many other activities. My friends and sometimes family say that I'm at church or doing something for church too much! With my mom being Steward President, praise team, Praise Dance Coordinator, choir member, dad being Trustee President, Zhane being a Praise Dancer, praise team, Choir member, kitchen committee, Myself being a Youth Sunday School Teacher, choir member, Usher, partial choir director, praise team. As you can see we are always doing something.

Sequoia and Redwoods

Sequoias and Redwoods are very interesting. I found out that they are the largest living things on the face of the earth. I also learned that Sequoia can grow different trees off of their own trunks. Other Sequoias or ferns can grow off of the original trees also. Redwoods are the tallest trees, but Sequoias are the largest trees. They are both located in California.

Kings Canyon is a great place to go on vacation. You are able to see the biggest living things to ever live on the earth. Although, Sequoias and Redwoods are the main attraction of Kings Canyon, there are many other things to see. You are able to see huge canyons, many different animals, and various activites that you can be apart of. Kings Canyon also has a lot of history that is very interesting. They have a program that you can donate money to the park to help the parks needs

Learining with Games

1. No, completely no! I think we need to do things hands on and take notes to get it stuck in our heads. Maybe because I like school old fashion, but this is what I think.
2. I think their just there to play. I mean they can be a fun way to learn and get the basics, but I really don't think you can learn how to do something major from a simple parking game.
3. I would like to try driving a semi or a plane. Doing some type of design would also be cool.
4. I thought this was fun, but like I said I'm ols fashioned when it comes to school. Homework and being there is the best way to learn.

Thanksgiving

I learned that the pilgrims made Tupperware in the 17th century. The pilgrims were very did things the way we do today. I would have thought the pilgrims would've had school, but they didn't. I knew the pilgrim housing was better than the Indians, but I did not know that they had almost a modern day apartment building.

I also learned a little bit more about the Indians. I knew they lived in longhouses, but I never heard of a wetu. Their god is kiethen, the creator. It's interesting to know that that the staps that held bags around their necks were made out of ground corn.
