Today's Blog Assignment
Today you will be going to http://www.scholastic.com/scholastic_thanksgiving/ and working your way through "The First Thanksgiving." Use headphones to listen to all of the different things that happened on the Mayflower, how they lived their daily life, and the first feast itself. When you finished watching and listening to everything, write a response to what you saw and learned. It should be 2 paragraphs (4-5 sentences each) and proper grammar and punctuation is expected.

The videos where very informational. I learned different things about the pilgrims and idians that I didn't know before. I would have never guessed that they would have to try so hard to survive in the winter. I didn't know the kind of hardship people had to go through back then, some of those hardships are still around today. Like not being able to get food, or well looking for a house or home you find it diffcult, to get a home where you can stand the weather.
ReplyDeleteWell, listening to the narator speak it was as though I was there well it all happened. Well the food was caught. Survied, and aten. Seeing how though they were different in almost every way, they still could get along. It sets a good example for people everywhere. It shows no matter who you are or what you do where all the same, no matter what.
