Research Paper

1. Yellowstone National Park. I would like to do Yellowstone National Park for my research paper. There are many fascinating things about the park, from volcanoes to geysers and many different species of animals. Yellowstone Park seems like it would have many things I could write about and I would enjoy it. I would have plenty of information and I would have fun with finding out the research. Yellowstone Park is a very big park, 2,221,766 acres. The park is found in three different states: Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. It would be neat to hear all about Yellowstone Park, the first national park, and the unique things that are found there.

2. Mount St. Helens. Mount St. Helens is located in southwestern Washington. The huge volcano is known as the volcano to cause the biggest and deadliest volcanic eruption in the US. I don't know much about Mount St. Helens, so it would be neat to learn about a new thing. The volcano is about 40,000 years old. The last time it erupted was in 2004. St Helens seems to have some history behind it that changed the environment around it.

3. Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is one of the most common national parks. Because it's so big, it took 3-6 million years to form. There is so much life in the canyon: about 70 species of mammals and 250 species of birds. I would like to learn more about the Grand Canyon and all of the things that make it up. I could find a lot of information on the canyon and it would be cool for me to learn about it.
